Microsoft has also aware of this issue and they have been released Windows Update to fix this issue. This update will be downloaded and installed automatically if you enabled 'Install Updates Automatically' in Windows Update Settings. Step 2: Now CMD Terminal will open. Type 'powershell' in it and hit enter.

Step 3: Now copy the command line given below, paste it into the CMD Terminal, and hit enter. To paste the command line, copy the entire piece of command and just right click in the CMD Terminal. Now the copied text will be pasted in the CMD Terminal.

Step 4: Now wait for a while until the command completes its work. Close the CMD Terminal, when the process complete.

Method 5:

Reset Windows 10 to Fix Start Button and Cortana Search Problem

Now you have to reset your Windows 10. Follow the steps given below to reset Windows 10.

Step 1: Press Win + I, now settings will open.

Step 2: In the ‘Settings Window’, select the last option 'Update & Security'.

Step 3: Now under Update & Security, select 'Recovery' the fourth option on the left.

Step 4: Now you can see the option 'Reset this PC' on the top. Click on 'Get Started' under it.

Step 5: Now Windows will ask you to choose any one of the two given options, choose the first option 'Removes apps and settings, but keeps your personal files'.

1. The first option will remove all the apps and settings including the apps you installed manually. But it won't remove your personal files.

On the desktop, you can see a list of all your manually installed apps which were removed. This list will make easier to download and install those removed apps again.
